*No official English translation has been published yet.

Issei Nishioka’s *The Art of Arithmetic That Makes Your Decisions Advantageous* is not about complex and difficult high school mathematics, but a book that reinterprets the basic arithmetic concepts we learned in elementary school as powerful tools of thinking that guide our everyday choices and business decisions in an advantageous way. The author, Issei Nishioka, was once among the lowest in his high school academic rankings but was admitted to the University of Tokyo after failing twice, and he served as a study consultant for the popular drama and manga Dragon Zakura. He credits the fundamental secret to his ability to turn his grades around and pass not to special memorization or complex formulas, but to ‘mathematical thinking that understands numbers structurally.’ *No official English translation has been published yet.

Sparks of Genius, co-written by Robert Root-Bernstein and Michelle Root-Bernstein, is a liberal arts book that emphasizes that genius is not a natural talent, but depends on how you use a specific tool of thought. The book summarizes the “technology of insight” that crosses art, science, and humanities into 13 tools.
