The Grand Scribe’s Records, written by Sima Qian, is the first biographical and autobiographic style history book that deals with ancient Chinese history. The book consists of five parts, and “The Grand Scribe’s Records,” which is a reverse interpretation of Choi Dae-lim, refers to the contents that focus on the Annals of the Emperors and the Heritable Houses.
